Default I need help!!

Hey how you guys doing I'm New to this Forum and this is the problem im having.

Im the owner of a 2000 Lexus Gs300, Its my Second, Second Gen GS3,
I have a problem my radio flickers, which sometimes causes my gages to flicker also and at times will shut the vehicle off at a stop light, i have so far changed my:Alternator,Battery,Spark plugs,Spark plug wires, and my valve cover gaskets along with pcv valve everything but the alternator and battery was maintence i think was needed to be done also what lexus said i needed to do once i took the vehicle there and they tried to diagnosis it, they could not find the problem i am scared to drive the vehicle anywhere because of this and i am sick of spending money cause my alternator was actually good so was my battery . CLUB LEXUS AND ALL ITS LOYAL FOLLOWERS CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Edit: Car is shaking violently and the vsc off light, abs along with check engine light is on now.

i can tell you one thing... the radio isn't causing the problems.. what part of NY are you in?

I had this same problem with my SC300. It ended up being one of the wires that connected the power side of the battery to the fuse box under the hood. That might not be the exact problem, but this has all the hallmarks of a standard power issue. Are your battery terminals clean and all that? Have you traced the wiring? all your grounds connected?

Im located in Queens, know of any mechanics that actually have alot of knowledge about this car.

Yea, had the battery terminals replaced, I didnt trace any of the wiring im going to look into that.

now the vsc off, vsc and check engine light are on, its like the radio started flickering at the end of the flickering it left vsc light and vsc off, abs and check engine and idles erractically and shuts off im going crazy

Do you have a multi meter or a volt meter? What is the voltage at the battery with the car running and the car off?

why dont you hook up the OBDII reader and find out what error codes you are getting from the check engine light first, they might be linked to the VCS and ABS lights and maybe to your unsteady rpms

wow thats crazy i was having similar problems with my 98 gs400 my headlights gauges and radio would flicker on and off. i found out it was the cable for the battery. replaced it and it went away.

this can only be a voltage/power issue.

which battery cable was it can you please tell me more about it?

yes im on my third alternator and second battery and the voltage was checked originally and it was 14,5

also dont forget the one thing you guy never mentioned the grounding point those get oxidation over time and can cause known issue like flickering on my old maxima it was causing poor grounding it cause my transmission to stop working in first gear ,after cleaning all my grounding point i went crazy doing ever point i can find the car was running like new again it can just be that. my 2 cent i know that on my gs300 im going to do it soon
