Default some helps on light bulbs sizes

ok i am going to LA these days and i will try to purchase some stuff for cheap down there, but i need helps from you guys some of the bulbs i have no idea what types they are

1) the maps lights (not the doom lights, but the two map lights in front of the doom light that you can turn on/off), what sizes are they??! i want to get polarg superwhite for them but i couldn't match them last time

2) the foot light on both the driver and pessenger sides. i read from another thread that there is no replacement? just want to confirm

3) backup lights (mine is a 98 gs4). i have totally no idea coz' i don't even know how to take off the rear light harness to replace the bulbs yet. but might better off just get the bulbs first

4) the night time driving lights (the one that's together with the high beam that lights up at night). is it true that i can just get some M6 for those?

5) fog lights and the headlights (i don't have hid) are both 9006, right?

thanks guys. i like white so i am changing all of them to superwhite / hid

Hey Rominl

I do not know the answer to questions 1-3, I think you can use the 5 watt wedge bulbs polarg M4's if I am not mistaken. Or pia wedge bulbs called extreme white.

But for question 4, I am assuming you are talking about the wedge bulb. It is a 5 watt wedge bulb and a polarg M6 is 15 watts. It will fit and several people have it on CL. The only negative is that in some cases it burns out quicker and than you are in position of replacing it again. BTW, do you know how hard it is to replace the bulbs on the drivers side...not an easy task.

For question 5, yes a 9006 HID kit will work fine. I think their was a group buy on this somewhere for about $400-500 dollars.

the reverse lights are 7440 single filament bulbs, and any brake light on the GS in the back is a 7443 double filament bulb. Wedge bulb for the DRL. Don't know about the interior lights though. Hope that helps.
