Hi, I recently bought a '01 gs300 and I have tried to search this forum for some common problems but couldn't pinpoint what issue I've got.

I get some steering wheel movement/shaking when I hit bumps in the road, whether it be little or big ones. I even feel the bumps when going over the lane divider bumps. It feels as though my car is lowered like a stiff bump but the car is stock. When I hit these bumps the steering wheel also vibrates/moves.

I don't have any vibration or movement when driving normally/highway, it's only when I hit the bumps. Oh and also, it feels like it's only rough when I hit a bump on the driver side. When I hit bumps on the passenger side, I can feel the bumps obviously but it feels normal like what I would expect to feel going over a bump. But when I hit a bump on the driver side it's completely different.

I suspect it may be the shock, but I was wondering if there was any other insight on what it may possibly be. Like if it could be balljoints, tierods, etc?

thanks for any advice given
