Borla Tips on 1st gen GS
Rico, I just love the way your car looks. Everytime I see your pics, I like it more and more. Btw, how much did you get the Tanabe Hyper Medallion for, if you don't mind me asking? They look very similar to the GReddy's that I had. How about the sound inside the car, it's not very loud when you accelerate (step on the gas)? Because with the GReddy's, everytime when I accelerated, it was just so loud that it was very annoying.

Thanks, Pianoman. To tell you the truth, I'm not 100% sure what the "touring" package adds. But I don't think there is any difference, performance-wise. Anyone know for sure?

Tanabe recently came out with the Super-Hyper Medallion (I know real original) it is pretty much the same. I got mine for $500 installed. I was lucky, someone ordered the exhaust and then stuck the shop with it...it sat on their display wall for 4 months before I made an offer. I think retail is in the $8-900 range (uninstalled).
The sound isn't even close to being as loud as the GReddy. That was why I wanted this particular exhaust. It is also much deeper in tone. It is louder than stock, but in order to be able to hear it well, I had to have one of my friends drive the car for me.
The "touring" package was usually just the rims (split three stars) and the two-tone paint and interior (the dash and the top of the door panels). Thats what I have, it used to be gray on the bottom!
