Look at my new smashin' modifications!
I was on the way back from looking at a potential project car that was for sale a few minutes away from my house. As I was going through the intersection at about 45 mph, a 1991 Oldsmobile runs the red light and clips my front wheel and bumper. My car was still in contact with his car, and at that time, I come in contact with his rear wheel/fender area (tire/wheel mark on the center of the front bumper).
I do a 180 degree spin and end up jumping the curb, rear-end first (where the right turning lane is). He does a 180 degree in the (north) direction he was traveling. He sits there for a split second, does a U-turn and flees the scene.
There were 6 witnesses to the accident. Keep in mind that this was at 1220am on a weeknight (lucky)! One citizen shortly follows and locates the fleeing vehicle (missing a taillight, hubcap, that was rolling on a rim, sending sparks everywhere), abandoned in a residential neighborhood. About 4 to 5 police officers arrived several minutes after the accident occurred.
I was able to positively identify the car. They did a search (the doors were unlocked with the windows down) and impounded the vehicle.
So now, it's just a waiting game. Enjoy the pictures.

I was riding with my little male cousin. The girl in the picture is my other cousin's gf. She showed up after the accident happened. I was borrowing her camera for these pictures.
My male cousin is complaining of lower back pain. I have a little bit of soreness in my left arm. Other than that, we are fine.
I am a saddened that the car is probably totaled. However, I know it's just a car; it protected us extremely well! BTW, we were on the way back from looking at a Honda project car! I was going to keep this as my daily. Now, it's time to start looking for a CLS as a daily.

Wow!! I am sorry for the loss of another GS4! I am glad you are ok though. I followed your builds ever since HT when you had the Accord then to the Maxima then i lusted after this one. My cousin just totalled his GS4 2 weeks ago as well.
I also love the CLS! Good luck & wish you a speedy recovery.

I'm glad you and your cousin are ok! What a crazy thing to just be cruising through an intersection....wow! Seriously, that citizen who chased after the car and found it ought to be thanked! What a cool person to do that!
Good luck with everything, man. I hate it for ya....
