Tap trunk lights to signal?
Is there anyway to tap the inner trunk lights to make them signal while they work as break lights also kinda like on motorcycles (with under tail) i was taking my gsxr 1k out and thought it would be cool if it could work the same way or has anyone ever tried or succeeded in doing it?

It can be done, pretty easily actually. You could use a relay to interrupt the power or ground when the turn signal bulb powers on. Or you could switch to a dual filament bulb and connect the second filament to the turn signals power wire.

Now ANY red light in the front of the car is definitely illegal. But in the rear, not likely.

What!? That can not be correct. There are so many cars with red turn signals. My Dodge Durango for one. No amber lights in the rear. Most older American cars only had red rear lamps. Rear amber lights are relatively new.
