wind whistle from windshield behind rear view mirror
So after my car has been sitting in the hot sun for a while, when I get up to highway speeds, a whistle will start from the upper windshield seal behind the rear view mirror.
If I press outward on the windshield right behind the rearview mirror on those textured dots, it will stop the noise.
Has anyone delt with this before? What's the best way to seal that leak or whatever is causing the issue?

So I peeled back my weather strip on the top of the windshield and layed down a nice thick bead of windshield sealant into the crevace there. Then I kind of pushed the weather strip into the bead and taped it down w/ painters tape to let it set.
How is this weather strip originally attached? Is it supposed to squeeze into a groove, or does it just press into the sealant and adhere that way?
