thanks
They'll get you 15 - 20 HP at the rear wheel. They're one of the best upgrades you can get for the money, beyond a 'Type R' sticker or emblem (which will net you about 25 RWHP).

Like GS430 Guy said, you've got to keep them shiny or you start to lose horsepower and your engine can stall  !

I'm not sure if it will fit a first gen, but I don't see why not. They are pretty much universal tips. PM DrewGS4 and he can get them for you. He is real easy to work with, just mailed him a money order and he was prompt and getting them for me. I looked around for a while for tips and these are by far the best ones that I have seen. I really wanted to get some L-Tuned tips, but those are impossible to come by...but I am happy that I got these.
Thanks for the info.

The Borlas looks really good on your Lex.

It is possible for new members (or people that just dont know better) that read this to be mislead by some of the comments. Especially when you consider that they might not 'get it' and also that these comments are coming from senior members of the forum.

He's absolutely right... stainless steel exhaust tips will only yield about 10rwhps. Only chrome tips will produce +20rwhps. And the power gain from a Type-R sticker depends highly on it's color and where it is placed.

Yeah! when I put them, I could instantly feel the 20+ hp increase.

Glad you liked the tips mcgong. I have them on my car and they truly look amazing. I also had the borla muffers on previously, they were just way too loud for everday driving. Now I got that agressive look without the noise. I still have a few extra tips, PM me if anyone is interested.
