Your ID box says you already have a GS400?

Anyway, I agree with Rico's Revenge. Wait and get the car you REALLY want, rather than settling for either one of these which each have some undesirable features as far as you're concerned. It sounds like you don't desperately need a new car right now, so just keep your eyes open and be ready to pounce when a more perfect choice comes along!

Default Wishfull Thinking

Well in September when I decided I wanted a GS so I put the 400 in my profile because I figured I would have one soon, but with 9/11 everything changed. Now I am ready to buy and cant decide.

I would wait for a stock GS400 but at the price and the mods I am getting with the car above it is a better deal. I mean here in Mass most of the GS4s I see around here are around $30,000 with the miles I want (under40,00) with out NAV and sometimes without 17s so that is why I am even considering the modded GS4 for a couple of thousand more.

I would really like to find a 98 GS400 blue on tan less than 40,000 miles and with 17s for around 27,000 but I can not find one yet.

What do you care if it has factory 16s or 17s? You already said you were going to do a subtle body kit and get aftermarket wheels.

Do the 17s take up less space in your garage?

KEEP LOOKING!!! I pulled up www.autotrader.com and there are a ton of GS4s out there for similar money!

This is the reason you may should(grammar?) consider leaning toward a gs400.

You live in Mass, let me check around a little for you ,you should be able to find a 98 gs4 with average miles for in the mid 20's.

Default Thank You

Thanx I have been looking but, no luck so far, every GS400 I see with under 40,000 miles is around $30,000 or so.

I want a GS400 if I can get one but I have to find that "great deal". I can afford the car I just want to have more money left over to mod out the car.

Default THANX

Thanx GS4FUN, your car is sick! Looked great with the 20 inch HREs. I will keep looking for a clean GS. I am going to a show in September in Jersey, I will have a GS by then.
By the way Manny if you EVER want to sell those wheels hit me up .
