gave mine the same treatment but with 4coats of semi-gloss black and 2 coats of sealer.I have a Alpine Silver GS300 with a super high gloss blacked out roof.. Looks really nice IMO. A lot better than the rock chipped grey color it was before. I taped the perimeter of the grill off and the "L" logo so they stayed chrome. I would hit yours up with some sealer so it doesn't flake off when you wash your car. Great mod for just a few bucks.

need to primer before paint..the rocks will chip it.

I used low gloss.. but its really close to matte.

Looks good, but i think you need more black accents (i.e. the roof, wheels, tinted windows, and so forth).
