Default GS430 tune work with a GS400?

Hey guys, so i just got my Apexi Neo installed. If someone else had the same setup i have intake and exhaust but they have a GS430, Would their tune on their Apexi Neo tuned on a dyno work for my GS400? Since the only difference between the two engines is .3l in displacement and the Neo only really deals with Air/Fuel ratio numbers, I just wanted to double check to make sure everything would be okay. What do you guys think? Thanks again!!

Dude, there are a lot of factors involved with tunning their car. The tune on the Neo will probably need to change significantly to work on yours. You should retune it. Don't know if it would damage your anything, but if it was me, I wouldn't even take that chance.

^but the Neo is only a air/fuel tuner, it doesn't really affect anything else. I plan on doing a few dyno runs after the tune to see how everything is. Does anyone know if it would work?

Every TUNE is car specific. Even if two cars are identical you will benefit from a specific tune to that specific vehicle.
Base Maps are given for cars with same engines and mods, how ever its just a starting point.
worst case scenerio, is if your car for some reason has a Inj. or two not behaving as it should. You throw in a Piggy back that was tuned for the same car with brand new Injs.
im sure you get my point.

being that the tune was done for a 4.3 and not a 4.0. the A/F is probably not going to be the same.

Thanks for the input! Does anybody know if the A/F ratio is the same for the 400 and 430?
