Default The New E Class Direct Mail Piece

I recieved a New E Class flyer in the mail. I'm wondering if Mercedes is trying to convert GS owners. Has anyone else recieved any marketing pieces from MB? I just traded my GS but this flyer just came today addressed to me and had contact information for my nearest MB dealer. I'm guessing MB knows that I am a Lexus owner and wants to make sure I know about the E class. Mercedes website is now showing the E class and I must admit it looks sharp. I'm not a fan of MB because of the entire process of having a car delivered and getting on wait list for 8 weeks but there cars have a more elegant look. When I was at the dealer over the weekend, I was told that a new GS isn't due out until summer of 2004. I'm sure GS sales will decline now that the 2nd Gen style is getting old and the E class looks so much better than everything else in its class. It should be a interesting summer.

New E-Class looks very sharp. Haven't gotten anything in the mail from MB yet. However, I wouldn't purchase a first year production from MB... too many quirks.

Oh contrair: The GS is due for a re-design...but they shouldn't stray too far from what they have. In my opinion, the current GS line is one of the best looking sedans on the market.

or second year, or third year, or...

JK But seriously the W211 E55 AMG kompressor is going to be a pretty cool car(although I personally would always opt for the turbo GS3 or SC'd GS4). From what I have heard from Lexus/ Toyota Execs the next gen GS should follow a similar path to the W211 E-class. In other words the car will look similar to the current GS just freshened up a little with a sleeker exterior.
