Well I ordered some t4 white bulbs
it seems like the only bulb that gives the effect you want is the "blacklight" bulb,

but unfortunately they dont make t4 bulbs in "blacklight" they may have to be purchased separately and be custom soldered in to get it to work

That was a custom made piece, I believe that the process requires the modification of the screen, the guy who had it done posted a link to the guy who did it for him.

He probably just reversed the power supply voltage so all the LCD crystals were switched 180 degrees, then put a white bulb as the backlight.

+1, doesn't seem like a link was posted....I tried PMing the OP awhile ago in regards to this, but he doesn't appear to be active anymore.....

I know that it was there, maybe a mod removed it? I remember that the guy said that his friend was doing it for him, his friends site stated that he did gauge cluster and climate controls on Toyota's.

Not moving at the moment been busy with 3 Air suspension installs, school, work, and retroing FX35 projectors, still need to finish my retro and then the fogs. Should hopefully get moving within the next week or two.
