but for me... I don't really like that look of the TTE lip too. Sorry, it doesn't fit my cup of tea.

Personally I'm not buying a lip because it says TTE on it, I could give a **** who made it. I like the way it looks--that's why I (and most people) want one.

Real TTE = A reputable quality
Fake = you get what you pay for.

x 2

well said....and for some reason while i was trolling i saw this. seems auto couture copied the TTE for the 3rd gen gs

http://www.auto-couture.com/lexus/uzs191/index.html

maybe this one will work instead of the crappy fiberglass.... this one isnt POLY but its FRP and they make a CF one OR maybe with enough pleading someone could get them to make one for the 2gs

TTE lip looks great, very aggressive and flows nice. However IMO it has been done so many times (not to say there are SO many options) that it seems like people are just doing it because it is the norm...dont get me wrong, if i saw one at a yard sale (yeahrightmuch) i would buy it without a question, but just explore more guys.

I think one of the draws of the TTE lip is that IMO it's the only lip that looks good with stock sides and rear. It's fairly subtle and doesn't drop the front so low that it won't flow with the stock body.

hey i just went down there to visracing to get a tte lip and it was out of stock he quoted me 195 picked up. on a good note i don't know if he is the owner but i talked to this guy named TAK , real nice guys and i explained the situation about TTE not exporting anymore. well guess what guys he said he can make the lip in polyurethane but he needed a group buy. and visracing is the sister company of guess who" WINGSWEST. here is their telehone number to visracing 1-626-839-1830 and ask for "TAK". he said he would the group buy would cover the mold they have to make etc etc. i don't have any time to get this started or patients to organize something like this. but someone please follow up on this. Their wharehouse is freaking huge, and visracing is a real reputable company here in SoCalifornia. i see so many cars at shows with their parts.

Not to be a downer, but getting a group buy together without jumping through the CL hoops is going to be a pain in the ***. I'll give em a call anyway, though!
