Default VVT System Malfunction

1998 GS400 200K

ODBII CODE P1349

From what i've researched on the web, I need to check the following:

Valve timing, vvt controller, OCV, and ECM.

Can anyone tell me how to check these and where their locations are?

My car was misfiring and now doesn't even turn over.

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm.. with 200k did you do your timing belt ? Since its not turning over, check to see if your T-belt snap.

Most probably its your timing belt, if its not turning over. I would check that first.

Search under my name, I don't have many posts. I explained it to someone a few weeks ago. If you are mechanical and have tools it's an easy fix when doing the timing belt. If you can I can send a pdf.
