Spyder78, any chance you can get a picture of the output of what you have done. Just want to see what it look like with verticle lines. Also count me in for the clear lense too. Thanks

only problem with this mod is putting the clear lense on the fog without doing a projector in there. The fluted lense is made to create the beam pattern becasue as we could all see the reflector is smooth. If the reflector created the beam pattern, jike in the head lamps then a clear lense would be fine.

Just my .02 and great if you are doing the projector retro, but probably make fogs useless with that OEM smooth reflector.

Actually Jeremy the reflector is in no way smooth, the fluted lense is made to scatter the light output which is the way that fog transmit light, which is very inefficient. You still pretty much the same output without the lense on the fog light, I will post up beam pictures of everything withing the next few days.

But bumping this back up to the top.

Also mine have alot of condensation in them, is there any easy way to remove it?
I'm not sure if there is a way to seal them better, but I'm going to assume you have condensation because the bulb is not sitting in the socket the way it should be?

What you want to do is remove the the fog light housing. It's held in by 2 phillips head screws. Then once you get those out, you're going to slide the entire housing towards the center of the car. You will then be able to pull the housing out. Now remove the bulb and either let it sit in the sun with the lens down on a cloth so you don't scratch it or take a blow drier to it.

As you can see in the pics the stock lense really deteriorates the output intensity and quality. I am still searching for a manufacturer that is willing to make a small batch of lenses as there isnt much interest.
