Well recently i posted a thread about a GS3 for 5500....but it was a POS! My wife is pregnant with an almost broke down 99 Accord V6. The dealer would probably give her 1K in trade in value.....So i am in search of a car thats reliable for her, thats why i am looking for a 2GS3-4. She needs a reliable car to drive around and the accord is just not cutting it. She is currently in Charlotte, NC and i am in Chicago training. We will be getting 3k from taxes... and i get paid only about 240 a month since i am in training. So i was wondering what kind of car i can get for what price and with a low monthly payment. Me and her have bad credit so i know this will be hard. But if anyone has any suggestions or input please do.

Probably looking for a car around 7-8k. Low monthly payment of $200 and a down payment of the accord and probably 1500.

BTW: When i am done in training, which is about 3-4 months from now......i will probably get paid 3-400 a week. So paying for a 2GS3-4 for like a year or 2 is fine.

 

You can find a GS for 7-8k. Search the classifies here at CL and there are some good deals to be had.. A few nice ones in the 7-9k range.. GL...

 

You can do what tmf2004 said, or you can get her Accord fixed, save up more money, and raise your credit score.

Then buy a GS. Just my .02

 

She needs a new Engine+ Tranny + it installed.....Than i need 4 new tires than a tune up.....dont ask me why her car is a POS.....its a Honda with 220K miles + a girl took care of it.....=(
