Unhappy Squeaky Sun Visor

After doing a search I learned there are a lot of squeaky steering columns out there. I've got a different problem (comparatively minor) - when I bring the sun visor down to secure the sun shade on my windshield it squeaks like a '63 Belvedere (did they make those in '63?).

Anyone have this problem and fix it? I was thinking silicone spray on the inside of the visor, but that would probably evaporate in the Florida sun.

Thanks in advance.

axle grease i'm sure some WD-40 would work nicely on that.

its actually from the weather (heat) I believe it makes the plastic maybe swell a little because days when its cooler or earlier in the morning it will not make the annoying squeaking sound. I don't have a solution but will try several things and see what works and post my findings

white lithium grease. Remove the sun visor and put some on the plastic rod with a q tip.

OK. I tried silicone spray on a paper towel, then rubbed onto the plastic rod. Worked well until the car sat in the sun for a while and back came the squeak.

Next, white lithium grease, as advised.
