Default Fog Light Relay

Alright. I went searching and I understand how to run the wires and all that, but this still confuses me.

We have to make one of the extensions and connect it to the relay, but I'm not exactly sure how to make the extension and not quite sure how to attach it to the relay.

Are those yellow things wire crimps? If so, I can do that.

Can anyone chime in?

You can use crimp (not good), solder/heat shrink, or get a relay socket

What are the disadvantages of crimping? It's all I have right now and my car is apart. Lol.

Just buy a spool of wire and make your own set. Buy a pack of Male and Female connectors and they slide on to the relay like butter. The yellow is just the protective cover so they dont touch and short.

PS, pull the battery before you start.

Here i made a little more in depth DIY, on the fog mod. Hope it helps

Thanks! Finished the mod last night with what I had and I'm gonna redo it tomorrow, the right way.
