Mileage is not really an issue as i dont plan on selling her ever, i just want to keep the car from wearing out fast due to daily use and the crappy stuff we've all hit on the roads.

I hear ya, I could have bought a brand new GS from what i spent on my last 5 cars. I am looking for another GS for Daily use, problem is everyone wants retail for their GS's..

Yeah, i wouldn't have a problem if i was in AL, GA, have you driven in Houston? the roads are crappy and debris everywhere. i hit a freakin piece of drywall on I-45 in my G35 amongst other trash on the road and patch 2 tires and had to replace a tire with good tread left due to glass in my sidewall.. i will never drive my GS while living in Houston..uggh

Just drive it. The only thing I baby is my motorcycle, and that's only because it would be foolish to ride it around during the winter here.

Keeping cars low mileage only does you so much good in terms of value after they become a few years old.
Point taken, i plan to drive her atleast 2-3 times a week now (weather permitting)

I don't plan on selling her at all. Mileage is not an issue, its keeping her from getting scarred up from the roads.. you can ask any of my buds from Atlanta the occasional stuff that seems to gravitate towards nice cars from the roads, but driving in Houston in any nice car is a nightmare!

Thats what i'm planning to do with my GS, reach 500K because i don't plan on selling..!

Exactly, I'm looking for another GS to drive when I can't drive the nicer GS due to bad weather or bad road conditions.

No intention on selling, just hope to reach 115K like yours and still in great shape..

I would drive her on sunny days and weekends man! I already know how meticulous you are with your cars so that won't be an issue. Just enjoy her and get a reliable beater!

Thanks for the pics Tony, i knew you and Bing would eventually Chime in--I'm looking for another GS.. To bad you sold your other GS - i think i would have bought that one.

Whats up Big B?! I plan to drive her more these days as i just released her from storage, she's now sitting in the garage waiting to be driven..

Nice weekends and shows seems like a good idea to me.. I was just lucky enough to acquire another car at the time so i mostly drive the ES.. Although, guys are still modding no matter what the mileage is because like everyone says these cars at 100k and 15k are barely broken in..

One more thing, I think its time for BBK..
Thanks for the compliments, she is my pride and joy. Although, i've own newer cars, none of my newer rides could ever replace her as she's still with me and all the others are gone. I wanted to keep my '06 G35 coupe but someone rear ended me so i had to rid of that one..I'm looking for a good price GS around $5-6K, let me know if you find one as i know you comb the classifieds.. hehe thanx

Not a problem i try to help out if i can.. I know there were a few in the classifieds.. RI-Lex GS was probably the best buy but he is having some issues i think with the CEL.. There was a silver GS4 and a boosted GS3... I don't think you will have a problem finding one..

What would let you sleep at nite and not worry during the day? I have a stock 430 and it's my garage queen. Only comes out on sunny days. I also drive over 24k miles/yr and now have a 99 max as my DD. The 430 only goes to work once per week but thats mainly because it's a high crime area and my other cars have been dented/sideswipped in the lot.

Drive it like you stole it! . I think things are meant to be used and enjoyed.. If you care THAT much for the car, get a beater and keep the gs as a weekend car. Unless of course you dont want to be seen in a beater

Hey Guys,
I made a decision.. I'm not going to buy another car right now and I'm going to start daily driving my car!!

I gave it alot of thought and though my car is one of few pristine condition GS's, I'm not really getting any use or enjoyment out of her plus she's getting old.

I figure since I Average about 15K per year -it would take me 10 years to get to 200K miles from my current 47K miles and by then she'll be over 20 years old.. So Yeah Baby - I'm going to DRIVE her in her prime years!!!

Thanks everyone for your inputs!
