Default Steering Wheel sounds like Bruce Lee...Any suggestions?

Like the title says...

Turning the wheel is a pain in the butt when you always hear this squeaking. is there any lubricant I can use on the column? it REALLY is annoying, I cant drive with the music low or off without hearing this, sometimes I just wanna cruise with the lady with low music and I HAVE to hear this thing,

it literally sounds like martial arts when I turn

its a 98 GS400 btw
any input is appreciated
