I think the 98 GS300 might be sold..

then the lookout for another GS can start, i'd really like a 430, but i'm not against getting a 400, or if it came down to it a 02+ 300 sport design would be fine as well..

Black interior is a +, black, blue, silver, gray would be my first pics. all just depends on price, i' like to stay around 9-11k originally i had a 13k budget but i've got a few other expenses right now so

he was with me when i bought it and when i sold my SC..

yeah i would have liked the nav ML nav but i was on somewhat of a budget and i wanted a 01+ in black, silver, gray or blue and NO tan interior, with a spoiler and the 5 spoke 17's..

i ended up paying 8900 for the car and 299 in BS fee's so for 9200 i don't think it was a bad deal 129k on it and the carfax shows it's been to dealer for everything.

seems to be well taken care of..

how can you tell a L-Tuned GS? they have a factory kit, 1" lower suspension right?

Congrats on the new purchase! It's like a night and day difference (power wise) between the V8 and I6 huh? Let's see how long you can keep her stock before you start modding.

thanks man! I wanted a 400 for the dang sport shift, not to mention i hear the 400's have better throttle response and might be a tad faster from a stand still.. I also really wanted the small 01 updates and something slightly newer is why i went with the 430.

Yeah there's a huge difference when you mash the gas down, i must say though normal driving i can' tell much difference in the 300 vs 430, but at WOT it's a whole different story, it's weird for me having a quick car that's not boosted ..

i love the car though! now i need me some gunmetal GS350 wheels lol j/k first things are probably a slight drop, the wifey will be driving it sometimes so i dont wanna go very low maybe a 1" drop, then a nice catback exhaust.. maybe some wheels down the road but i'm on a budget with the baby on the way, i love the way the 3rd gen GS wheels look on your car though.

That is one drool worthy car.. Nice color combo too.

About being in cali and options on buying car out there, I have looked on autotrader, cars.com, craigslist, its all full of GS300 and high mileage GS400/430's... Actually I only found maybe 5 430's and seller's are asking too much for them (above 15G's and around 80K miles for '01 and 20 grand for 03 with 50K miles)..

/ thread hijack.
