Next GS540???!!!!
In the latest CD or MT magazine, there is a splash about Toyota's future with large pickup trucks. Apparently the Tundra will get bigger and feature a 5.4L V8 from the present 4.7L. THe next Sequoia will be based off of this and feature the same engine. Also, a new Lexus based off this new Sequioa will premiere badged as the VX540.
Now, if you think about it, it makes sense that the fastest way to shoehorn in more power without much costs and time would be to shoehorn a version of this new 5.4L in the next GS, maybe debuting as a GS540 as a hi-po model from the more "demure" GS430? Hmmmmm.....

You know I can't wait to see the next generation GS with more power and I am talking about mad monster power and a sports package.
But Lexus better make this happen soon due the following:
1. Infiniti has a M45 coming out at the end of this year.
2. BMW has the new 545 coming out towards the end of this year.
3. Mercedes has the nicest looking E-Class that I have ever seen coming out at the end of this year (E500 model Available).
4. And did you see the new Infiniti G35 sports coupe (sister of the Nissan Z), that is one sweet looking car that has 275+ Horsepower). Lexus SC430 is nice, but it's not a true sports coupe. And it does have that funky look to it.
So many choices, so Lexus better do something drastic soon, since from other threads on here, they don't seem to even want to promote the GS series.
