I removed my badges to install the gold package. I bought a metal spackling knife and wrapped it in two bounty paper towels and popped up the edge of the Lexus symbol. After I pryed it off I used an alcohol pad and removed the sticky tape. That worked very well.

My Debadging Thread

1. hair dryer
2. fishing line - go slow
3. goof off
3a. Repeat 1-3 till all the gunk is gone
4. wash
5. re-polish
6. re-wax

Enjoy

BTW, this has been discussed several times if you are looking for more details; you knew I was going to tell you that, right?

I think Dex means "Goo Gone" as opposed to "goof off"; otherwise, this is highly effective. Be patient.

Thanx guys....I know I should've done a search but i got a little frantic and I just didn't know what to do!!??!! I knew that you BIG BRO"s out there would respond to my thread as fast as possible and give me your most professional input on this (i know now it's not all that hard) and come to my rescue.

As to my frantic state..I purchased my RMM 3-piece spoiler and had a bodyshop paint and install it, but after I specifically said to REMOVE the emblems, he still decided to leave them on and leave a gap in between the " L " symbol!!!!!!! all this B/C he said it look better w/them on!!!! and if remember......THIS IS MY BABY!! NOT HIS!!!!! So I've decided to debadge it myself and put the spoiler on the right way as it should be.

Once again I thank you for all you help and will post pics soon as I can...Oh I got the L-Sportline roof spoiler, but i think I'll put that on myself as well!!!!

L-sportline roof spoiler... thanks to Steve Ganz at carson...the man is an asset to this forum!!

Actually, Goof Off works just fine...But before I put any of that stuff on, I'd use WD-40 first and that should do the trick by itself...that's what I used and it worked like a charm...don't you guys read pre-caution labels All of that "test in an inconpicuos area first" stuff scares me
