2009 Lexus GS350 Drip Molding Peeling issues too!!
Hello forum members,
Glad I found this thread as I have just recently experienced the exact same issue on my GS. Yeah, the drip molding at the dealer is ridiculous in price. The best price I found to replace the driver's side roof drip molding was on parts.com for about $410. I tried gorilla glue but it did not stick well and after several attempts made it look worse! Now I an debating just "biting the bullet" and getting the molding for $410. My debate is that my Lexus is in really good shape (beautiful paint still at 82k miles and great interior, etc.) and by leaving an "eye sore" might depreciate the value significantly enough to where it might be cost effective in terms of preserving the vehicle's value by replacing the molding instead.
Feel free to reply and let me know what you think. Also, if anyone knows of an even cheaper source to get the drip molding please let me know!
Thanks,
JDawg99
