Default Can you feel the road through your gas pedal??

I'm pretty new here so i'll start out by saying "Hello"

But onto the question....I have a 2000 GS300 and I notice when I'm driving down the road, I can literally feel the road through my gas pedal meaning little road imperfections, bumps and things of that of nature. I just want to know if anybody else is experiencing this and if so what steps have you taken to correct it??

Thanks for any responses

I don't feel anything to the gas or the brake pedal, since your car is a 2000 it doesn't have the electronic system, check the wiring coming from the engine to the compartment. It could be that it's too tightened?

If it's too tight, your idle would be high. If it's too loose, you will have a very soft pedal with a bunch of free play. As for the vibration, 2 things. Go underneath and check the gas pedal it self and check to see if it's mounted tightly and check any free play. Next, your car could currently be pinging because of carbon build up in the intake manifold or a lean condition. If you want to fix that you can do the air filter, clean the MAF, clean the TB, and do the fuel injection service last if all of those didn't help overall. Gl.
