So is it the Beach Chalet or Marina? Looks like all the SC guys are question marks and maybes at this point (KNK you were right). I might just stop by for a minute if there are no other SCs around as I'll look pretty odd being the only one. Shame too, the weather is great.

i've found embarc and then to marina. there's a hella big park, with people flying kites. um...i didn't find any car club meetings. i hope i went to the right spot. i wanted to see what peeps are duing to thier lex. did i go to the right spot? did anyone go today?

Hey enginyr why are u bashing people that attend did you make the meet yourself i see that you suggested sunset but i realize your in LA correct so why state something that your not going to? what makes our meet weeeeek is people like you that all talk about meeting but did you actually so up? and to those guys that i might that day @the marina thanks for coming out and of course later meeting everyone else at the beach...If i remember there was about 20 supras, 5 vets, 2 NSX, 5bimmers, 4 cameros, 9 lexus, all and all it was a good turnout as for lots of different cars out there i glad... let do another one soon guys.

Well there were *supposed to* be six to eight SCs showing up, but I don't think any of us did. My excuse was the original reason I couldn't come. I have no license (suspended). I had a buddy who was going to come with me, but he fell through on the eleventh hour. Hell I even waxed my car the evening before! A couple of other SC guys were still in class during the meet, one SC had a hit and run fender bender the day before, and a few guys weren't sure they were going anyway. If you have another SF meet say 6 months from now, I promise I'll show unless I'm hospitalized, abducted, or jailed!! I think this meet neede more exposure, like a sticky in the General Forum one month prior. There should also be more events and planning so that the wishy washy people have a reason to come.

It was nice checking out some of your cars and meeting some of you other GS guys in the bay area. Definately a good time. The turn out wasn't huge, but all you dudes were cool.

I'd have to say the high-light besides checking out all the other cars was the burn-out by the (supra?). OK .. i'm easily amused.

Dude smoked his tires for what seemed like a good 20 seconds or so.

 

for those of you that are student, let meet again at the end of the semester so whom ever this time want to meet set it up based on your schedules.

 

Since summer is just around the corner, let's just do a simple hang out at the park meet where we all show our cars and play some football...or just do a buffet meet and eat like a king...

 

If we're meeting in a park in the middle of summer, why not a barbecue? Mmmm, steaks!
