Don't cut your springs as you will probably end up too low then you can't go back and will probably end up spending more money and time for some new one's.

I have some cut springs that i'll give it up for $50...3" drop wanna buy

10th grade? wow, I was 12 when I knew I would be paying for any vehicles/ higher education, you better milk it kid, and don't rice up that GS! From someone who has done both, I'd say save your money from chores or whatever you did to get that GS and wait for coils/ air, it'll save money in the long run, considering you would get springs then want them to be lower and get coils, then maybe want slam to the ground and go air----not me though, I drive hard.

I spent a total of 1800. Thats 1300 for the coilover and 500 for both front and rear RCA kits and free camber and alignment work.

It gets expensive, once you consider quality. Also theres camber issues, so more tires, posibbly more alignments, RCA kits...blah blah blah. It adds up.

You can, but One set of RCA's run about $400 for the front, $400 for the back....

If you saved a a few hundred more you could get a set of coilovers with complete height control.

If I was on a really low budget, I'd buy some used springs since springs don't really go bad. Depending on your mileage you could either use stock struts or get new aftermarket ones. To save on labor you can rent some tools from Autozone and do the work yourself. But if you really don't know what you're doing you should just pay someone to do it right.

Actually I think it's 180 for the front and 280 for the rear set. Exact has it for that price.

You'll save on installation costs buy getting new shocks and springs installed at the same time. If you want a drop of 1.5" or less, you may be able to get away with your old shocks if the mileage isn't too high. But if you're going with Tanabe DF's, Espelir, or Daizen springs, you'll need new shocks too as they drop your car like 2" or more.
