Has anyone tried one of those mobile ding repair services. My GS4 has a few stone chips that I want to get rid of.
Do they airbrush or hand paint?
What is the quality of the work?
Any recommendations for a good service in the San Diego area?
I can't help you with the San Diego part, but I have been tremendously impressed with the "paintless dent removal" I've had done. It's basically just a skilled guy with the right tools who can get inside your body panels and push the dents back out. It's amazing to stand there are literally watch dings go away!
If you're talking about rock chips where the paint is gouged away, then I apologize because that technique obivously won't work. I haven't seen anything in between using your own touch-up paint and having a body shop repaint an entire panel for stuff like that...
They're in fountain valley which is about an hour from San Diego.

I used dent wizard (paintless repair) and the did an amazing job removing a huge ding. They will not touch anything that needs to be painted though. I don't think there is much you can do beyond touching it up yourself.
watch out if your car is silver though. No matter how good the paint or painter, silver - especially metallic is hardest to paint and match and will *ALWAYS* be darker.
