i just joined the forum as im in the process of buying a gs now. i always had the 1st generation so some features of the 2nd generations are unknown to me. my main question im hoping someone can help me with is what were the major safety/performance/ or just overall changes made in the model years between 98 and 01. right now i am looking at 2 gs300 that are basically identical as far as condition and mileage but 1 is a 98 and the other 2001. the price difference is less than $3000 between the 2, but if there wasnt many changes within those years then im thinking the 98 is the way to go, or if not the extra $ may be well spent if i will be getting an overall better designed/performing car. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
