I would post the url but they use javascript and frames but basically:

http://oem-car-parts.com

select 2001, GS300

Go down to 'Trunk Lid' then 'Exterior Trim' then 'Nameplate'. As you can see, buying an extra set and spray painting yourself is probably the way to go. Although I couldn't find the (L) emblem I'm sure its on the site somewhere.

I think a glossy dark pearl blue would look sweet as well.

Btw, the group the 430 and 300 stuff under the same GS300 area, and just denote 4.3 vs 3.0L when the parts are different.

Chu,

Looks good man! Who did the weld job? Funny you should mention the TTE lip spoiler, I just ordered mine.

Hey MAC:

Pacific Welding Service did the welding. Took them about 4 hours because they didn't want to risk damaging my car if they were to weld it in place. They charged me for 3 hours at $35 per hour. In addition, they had difficulties using the Argon welder due to the breezy winds we are having. Therefore they had to remove and install it several times. They did do a great job on the alignment and welding. Want my old stock tips for your GS? Or are you going to replace your exhaust?

Let me know when you get the TTE lip spoiler. I would like to see the quality and fitment.

Hi MichaelC:

Left my camera at work. I sure there are other CL members that have black interior. If no one post any I will then take some pictures. You of course can visit WWW.LEXUS.COM for some interior pictures.

Hi ChuH,

No big deal...you just happen to have the exact color combo as mine. I'm just too excited. Will post pictures of my car when I get it.

Chu,

Thanks for the offer on the old stock tips. Aren't they the same as the 400? It doesn't matter though because I plan on getting an exhaust. I'll be doin mods about 1 a month from now on. I've got 5 items in mind after the TTE. Just trying to incorporate the mods into the monthly cash flow. I'll let you know on the lip. it will be a while since I'm off to Tokyo.

Hi MAC:

No the tips on the GS430 are a bit larger than the GS400.

Have a safe trip to Tokyo.

Where can I get those emblems?

I asked at Scarborough Lexus today and they just looked at me like I was retarded.

Any comments on a Black GS with Black emblems ??? I just chromed the factory grille and it look freakin' clean... It only cost me $2.29 and some elbow grease, but it made a big diference though.
