Default Have a few questions

I've owned a 04 GS300 in the past and loved it but was too small for a family car. I'm again in the market for another one for myself (2nd car) but have limited budget. I'm not scared to buy a hi mileage 300 as I have decent knowledge of the 2j motors, but I don't plan on doing any motor mods and would like a 400 for the more power since I don't want to mod the engine. My question is are there any things that I should look for in a 400 with high miles and are they as easy to work on as 300. I've found a MINT 1 owner FLAWLESS 400 for I think a decent price 6500 obo, but it has 225000 miles on it. Always garaged, orig flawless paint, floormats, tint so int. isnt faded, etc. The owner says it runs like a champ and did all routine service on the car. Should it be ok or are they problematic at this amount of miles. I searched but was unsuccessful. Anyway let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

I always say the lower the mileage the better. High mileage you're gonna look for more like ball joints, brakes, suspension for safety's sake. Tranny would be something to look at fluid and test drive for sure. Maintenance records for timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and what not. You're definitely looking at the right vehicle for no mods cuz it's set up pretty good with 3.76 rear and 300hp, also suspension is stiffer for more sporty right from the factory! Good Luck!
