Ok so here it is....theres this really weird buzzing noise, almost sounds like a long quack from a duck. its really starting to get annoying and its been happening for a while. It sounds as if its coming from around the glovebox. sometimes when i step on the brake itll go off. but its just mad annoying..any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Have you tried locating it? Take a video, might help a bit.

 

I know that its somewhere either right behind the glove box or underneath it. I can tell where its coming from just cant tell what it is.

on another note...where in jersey are you??? im from north jersey, now in AZ

 

you might need some brakes..it happen to me the other day and i checked my bbrakes and they were bad.

 

that cant be it...just replaced brakes all around less than 2 weeks ago.

 

i have the exact same sound and it bugs the shizzle out of me!! its not the glove box (i have held it tightly shut, opened it, all kinds of stuff and it wont stop! its from behind the glove box somewhere

its not the brakes, it only makes the noise on accel and only at a certain rpm, its more of a resonance type vibration......... its not loud but if the inside is quiet then it is DEFINITELY noticeable........ its about the same loudness, if not quieter, than the sunroof clicking

i wish i could figure it out!!

 

yeah its kinda like that only one time it was actually goin when the key wasn't even in the ignition. drives me nuts. and i have a system so it drowns it out but still i dont need that noise in my life haha

 

does it start when you start the car or is it always on.....u sure its not a servo buzzing?

 

its more random than anything else. its not always on. but alot of the time it is. and it doesn't come on right as i start the car. it drives me nuts though

 

hmm cant think of what it could be besides maybe the air servo buzzing........ doesnt sound like my noise anymore if its random, mine does it all the time at a certain rpm

 

yeah its weird cuz it hasn't come on in the past few days.

 

again....check the servos....behind the glovebox....the normally make a buzz noise

 

I have something similiar buzzing noise but it only happens for about 8 seconds upon starting the car. It sounds like from the glove box i first thought it was the cd changers or something but its not. I have 2000 gs4. I found this thread by searching what/where is the way to check the servo?

 

well i haven't had the noise happen in a few weeks so still not sure what it was, but 2kay, hopefully you find out what it is

 

I got a 2000 GS with the same problem. It only makes the buzzing noise sometimes when I accelerate quickly. There is another buzzing/vibrating noise when i cut the AC on as well.
