Recommendations for a new 2GS owner?
Hey all...just made my move to the 2GS forum from the old ES forum now that I have an '05 GS300
Wondering, without searching years of threads...anybody have recommendations for SOCAL local (south OC):
Tints? my GS is Black/Tan need a good shop to do the work
Spoiler? is the JP 3 pc lip spoiler the best option?
Roof spoiler? to complete the look?
LED swap for backlighting?
Wheels? would like to trade my chromes for alloys (I'll be posting this as a WTT in that forum)
IPOD integration (stock unit cd changer in glove box - no ML) of some sort?
I'm a family guy and not really interested in modding the exterior other than the spoilers but I'm sure I'll get all the tech help and tips as I did from the ES side.

Congrats on the GS! 
I'm not a big fan of spoilers myself but if I were to get one, it'd be the JP one, or a tiny little lip soiler. As far as roof spoilers, I'm not really fond of them as well. For alloys, I say get some newer model 18" oem GS wheels. There's a few guys here that run them and I think they look pretty good.
As for your other questions, I'll leave that up to the rest of the folks here since I'm not too savvy on the likes of lighting and electronics.
For tint, you'll want to hit up the So Cal regional forum and see what shops those guys reccomend.

Getting the tint done today so will have some pix to post this weekend.
I am def not going to "mod" this car, just a few minor tweaks for luxury style.
still on the trail of some OEM 17" or 18" alloys or similar!

\\I'm looking to trade/sell my IS for a gs soon. Imo i like the stock spoiler but a lip style is nice dont like the 3pc one though. THe 3rd gen GS rims look nice i think they would look good on a 2nd gen. Deffinatly post up some pix..

Doesn't stock (which I like as well) involve drilling and I'd guess replacing the trunk lift mechanism due to the added weight?
