Default Need help with rims

I've had a 2GS300 for a couple of years now and think its about time to upgrade the rims. You could definitely call me a novice when it comes to rims and the more I read, the more confused I get. I see all this talk about offsets and tire size, which I can grasp the meaning of, but can't really figure out what I need or should get. Can anybody help with what tire size and offset I should go with or a good source of where I can find out?

Also, I am kind of figuring that going with 19's will probably give me a rougher ride than my stock set-up, but how different will the ride be? Also will the larger tire size affect my speedometer reading? Thanks in advance for any help!

Is your car lowered at all? Yes 19's will give you a rougher ride, but if you go with a fat tire setup (beefer tires), it will compensate for that a little. And yes your speedo will be off by a little.
