Default Update: MRR GT1's

Just had the 19" GT1's installed this weekend.
As some of you know I was intending on going with a fat setup but with my suspension setup... it no fit =(
I ended up with Kumho Ecsta SPT 245/35, 275/30
I can fit maybe 3 sheets of paper between the tire and fender lip, haha.
I'm lowered on Tein SS and have Exact rear camber kit.
Just barely in spec. on neg. camber in the rear.
about 1deg. out on neg. camber on front.

Also blacked out the lower trim with vinyl to see how it looks. (last 2 pics only) I'm surprised i don't see more GS with this very cheap mod. I personally think it cleans up the car perfectly and makes it look a bit newer, but it may depend on your color scheme.

repainted the grille with satin black, couldn't find my matte paint but it turned out ok.

Sorry for poor pics, I was out of time and it was snowing, haha.

I know it looks high in front, I need to tweak it a bit.

They look great! Very nice. The blacked out trim makes the car look cleaner but at the same time a little taller and somewhat 1st Gen'ish but that might just be me.

Congrats on a sick looking ride!

looks really nice! very clean and not too flashy!

19s and rubbing? hmm, 19x8.5 and 19x9.5? if i remember correctly, the mrr's should be +35 for the 19x8.5 and in the low +40s for the 9.5s. should clear without an issue. for me, i got the 20s and added a 5mm spacer up front and a 25mm spacer for the rear and i still clear. you probably need to roll your fenders though. i did have an issue with the fronts the first day even without the spacers. the tire caught onto the fender liner and pulled the fender completely out. i removed that little plastic 1cm liner, and rolled the fenders, problem solved.
