no way, the authentic explosion kit cost 3500 retail, a good deal would still be over 2600. this must be a fake.

 

gs4will---If you can please run by there and check out the kit, that would be great---I'm interested in getting it as will, but want to make sure that what I pay for is worth the money!!!! Let us know if you can find out any information.

eng- were you directing that reply towards moi? if so, then i ahve not received any...

GUYS- i called procarts today. but this dude over the tel did not seemed to eager to help me out..he kept on telling me to order on site. then after putting me on hold for ~5 minutes, i was quoted a price of $975+shipping +tax(in cali). then i asked him since i am only 2-3 miles away from their business, if i could stop by after work, he said, NO.....plus, he told me i would need to pay for shipping charge in the amt of ~$140, aftre i told him that the bodyshop where i would like to have the kit delivered to is merely 1-2 miles from his business listed on the web...

i am NOT spending over $1k for a kit that i cannot even get to see first....:eek:

I call "knock-off" on this one. A cheap knock-off too. gsintensive is absolutely right. My Wise Sports front bumper alone (made upon order only just as I suspect with Explosion) shipped from Japan was $1200, and we won't even get into how much the shipping was in addition to get it air freight within 3 weeks (I pay the actual freight shipping). Save that 1K, aggrevation, and ridiculous pickup fee and get yourself something nice. These guys are crazy charging this much for pickup. And to think that I had a few guys from Cali buy some Rod Millen stuff from me, avoid tax since they were buying from PA, and then pick up their merchandise for a $5 drop shipment fee that I was charged, still paying no shipping charge and 20-25% off retail. What was I thinking??? lol. JK.

 

The Wise Sport front bumper and sideskirts (of the V1 kit anyways) is VERY NICE for the GS. I just couldn't live with the rear bumper...the V2 kit doesn't look at nice IMO....

I'm pretty sure this is a knock-off...

 

yep completely knock off. if it is real I would kill the guy who sold me my kit for 3k.

 

It is a replica---I emailed him from the "Ask Seller A Question" link on the ebay auction page. He replied back to me and told me it's a replica kit!!!! So it's up to you guys who want to drop the cash and not get quality.
