Default Weird noise

Hi all,

I have a 2000 GS400. The problem is everytime I turn the steering wheel slightly left it makes a scraping noise coming from the front. It sounds like metal scraping against the rim of some sort. I thought it was my brakes or brake disc so I had them checked out but they were ok. For all you lexus Gurus please help me out . Thanks

Check your mud flaps, and anything behind the front bumper. Tire might have some rubbing issues

This is prob not your issue but i had the same scraping sound with another car and the culprit was the after market brake pads. There was a metal shim or spacer that separated from the pads. The shim/spacer was scraping the rotor and actually cutting a groove in the rotor. Good luck!
