Question I need help with wheel spacing and lowering

Hey everybody new to the site and i have a black gs 400 and i have decided to put some 20 inch wheels on it and lower it a little. My 2 questions are i want to run staggered 20 inch rims but i dont know what backspacing will tuck in front and back so when i lower it it will not rub or stick out of the fenders. I see that alot of you are running 20 inch rims and they look sweet. So please help me figure out the right backspacing. and also how much should i lower it to look good with the 20,s but not have to worry about it dragging everywhere. Thanks everybody in advance.

There is a lot of info on here about this. After some more reading and you've decided on the look and fit you want, the guys can more accurately help you with specs. You'll have to decide on how you want the wheels to sit and if you are willing to do some tweaks (and which ones) to the car.
