i havent tried on my 430, but i know the 400 can reach speeds over 140

I'm currently running the AEM EMS. There's no longer a limiter on my car as far as I know. I've gotten it around 160(basically the needle pegging the end of the speedo) and it didn't feel like there was any secondary cut in the automatic transmission. I let off because my car still needs some fine tuning for high speed runs so I didn't push it any further. I'll tell you one thing though, its scary how fast I can get up to that speed at the moment lol. Mad wheelspin through 1st, 2nd, and half of 3rd gear(80mph) at full boost...now that took me a good while to get used to

wow... fastest i've ever been in a car was 143 and that was scary everything seems to come at you so fast, slightest mistake and you wont be posting in this or any other thread lol... i'd still like to know where the GS300's top out at though

so was i.....n when i 1st joined that was one of my 1st posts which subsequently got closed....(some dudes were yelling bout how i just couldnt drive but ne1 can just step on a pedal) i dunno man, mine cutts off at 122.... come to memphis and i'll take you for a ride one day. it really was embarrassing to be beaten on the interstate by a 300 when i hit 122 and my car kept cutting off and he flew by me!

UPDATE ! well i found it was cause i had a supra TT diff on my gs430 which is why my governor cut on at so low

I always thought that was funny...it's like redline 4th at 148, shift into 5th (brick wall governor) LOL.. Hmm a good friend of my mother's lives down there and she wanted to go down sometime. If we are in town sometime soon, I'll be sure to PM you in advance and be sure to take the GS and not her altima ()

No lol...a Gear ratio calculator said at redline it should be at 148, Ive only been 137/138 and it was on a private airstrip.

I have a 3.76 rear end and 8000rpm redline. 3rd gear for me tops at 112mph and 4th is about 160mph.

Jeff, I think you would benefit from 3.26 gears, you have way too much power for the 3.76, want to trade

That time you swapped 3.92 gears into your buddy's 400, did the tranny have any issues bouncing off the revlimiter not shifting?

I need the LSD in my rear end, so I can't trade down to a 3.26. Either way, it would still be useless because right now I break traction in 3rd gear rolling into the throttle from 60mph cruising lol. I don't see 3.26 gears helping much with traction in my case

As for the rev limiter...the shifts worked just fine in his car. I'll tell you this, it kicked way harder with the 3.92 rear end
