Hey everybody. I never have really did this forum stuff but I wanted to thank everybody here. I searched this forum a few times while i was in the process of buying my car. It was a huge help ( the other forums are not are par with u guys). Long story short, I bought the car and regisitered on this forum because I'll probably need future assistance. So this was my first lexus purchase and I was pleased with the 3 hour drive back from the dealership. I picked up an 02 gs 300 with 59k in very very good condition for 11,900( blue onyx pearl w grey leather) oh I have heard things about the suspensions of these vehicles, can anyone elaborate on this a little for me???

Congrats on the GS and welcome to Club Lexus

As far as the suspension is concerned, I think the the only real issue is ball-joints. It's been covered many times and there are two stickies dedicated to this topic in the 'Suspension and Brake' subforum.

Welcome to CL. I know where Oneonta is. That's north of Binghamton. Used to live in Binghamton/Syracuse. My family is in Syracuse.

Congrats on the pickup. I also know where it is although I've never been. I'm in Syracuse. Not too far.
