Thank you! waiting for something like this for a while now. Why did you switch out the stock Navi? and whats that on passengers seat(my guess is laptop holder of some sort)?

I switched out the stock Nav because it looked outdated and wasnt as accurate as the Tom Tom on the dash. I could have gotten an updated disc but I wanted the bluetooth handsfree and the other options the AVIC D3 gives me.

its not on the passenger seat it is mounted on a tripod...its a jotto desk (love it)

ill post better pics when I clean the car up.

I am a little disappointed in the amount of bass i got from the subs, but I used all the room I could afford to lose in the trunk area for the box. I have to haul around a ladder in the trunk of the car and my luggage when I travel. everything still fits in the trunk like this.

the subs are cheap subs that i picked up to get me by, but I have 2 orion hcca 250s mounted on top of the box and a 3 farad cap. it was a squeeze but it all fit in that little area.

If your car came with ML w/ Nav. How did you get your climate control a/c working?

I"m still on the wall about this whole swap. I want HD and Sat radio in my car, have(not installed yet) sub/speakers and 5ch amp but....I just looove how the factory nav screen looks in the GS(was a dealmaker when i got it 2years ago). I like the controls, the ergonomic feel and look. So I guess I'm going to let the 'looks' win over the functionality and keep my factory screen.

I used the non nav equipped ac controls out of a 1999 model gs...its just a simple plug is all..no wiring needs to be done

im sure it would, but i think it would be very labor intensive to do so..I would think that you would have to have the entire Nav wiring harness out of another car to make it work. I would do some research on it if I were to make sure

Wow, that is a busy interior, the laptop table reminds me of a police car

the interior is a little busy, but it is what I have to have while working. the laptop stand is removable fairly easy though.

I like the camera in the bumper though and it gives a great view of whats behind the car.

i would have rather have done the speaker box differently but with the needed trunk space I used all I could and still be somewhat durable...I throw a ladder in and out of the trunk all the time along with other smaller tools needed for what I do..but depending on where I go and what kind of work i would be doing (property or auto) I take my truck out of town with me (ford f250 crew cab 4x4 diesel)

I love the way the car is set up now
