Question for gs300 matinence!!
hi guys.. i recently bought a 2001 gs300 and i was wondering how often do we have to change the timing belt and water pump?? is there anything else i need to change to keep my car running in good condition?
Get a copy of your owner's manual.
Log onto lexus.com owner's section, create an account and add your car. You'll be able to see as well the online manual as order a replacement copy of the owner's manual (free).
Timing belt is at 90K/72months. Water pump is not listed as something that needs to be changed. But many people do it anyway since it's right there during the timing belt job.

Double check your balljoints! If they show any signs of wear, replace them immediately, don't ignore them. Goodluck and welcome!
