i'm not used to seeing a black top on a silver car but i think you should go for it. as others of said, looks awesome on a white car though...

I personally only like it on white..
Not on silver,
M6's got the carbon fiber roofs, they look pretty bad ***!

My top is Black. But i have a whole theme going. Search me for alot of pictures! Mine is Vinyled so i can removie it anytime....

I like the look, the 2GS body/roof lines work extremely well for this treatment.

I wouldn't say it's played-out, I rarely see this done on cars.

I would do paint, vinyl usually looks like butt up close.

Mine is actually Nighthawk Black with blue pearl, but on a blue car, so it's subtle.

I now have dual exhaust AND Flat Black Rear Insert and my roof spoiler is Black and not shown in the pic. I just need to take new shots

Haha, dang, the OP car is mine. I shouldn't have posted pics yet tho, I'm waiting for better weather before I put my black 19x10-10.5 SSR SP1. I will be better soon

My top was painted Toyota Supra black (same black as every other black), but my buddy who owns a paint shop had it sitting around, my car was down there for a week getting the front end resprayed and he said he could do the roof if I wanted, if I didn't like it, he'd respray the factory colour.

Actually, the contrast was done on purpose - otherwise, you wouldn't be able to see the roof spoiler. Kind of blends with the light blue tint anyway dark blue roof, lighter blue roof spoiler, light blue windows.
