You're wrong yet again LexusRules, it wasn't $1200 but $995

Anybody who paid that much is pretty much too lazy to go shop for the intake, Shin-Kai Racing(SKR now) were selling them for $795 still cheaper than the WR combo which gives 10RWHP and the 'best power curve'.

The reason Mo didn't respond to you is because he rarely does come to IS300.net anymore.

Look, an intake is an intake...They are ALL THE SAME! It's the ECU thats producing the different HP numbers.

Bottom line,

Weapon R intake can be bought with out the ecu...SRT, you can't. I have the Apexi S-AFC, I don't need another ECU.

WeaponR has the only polished aluminum intake availble.

And $180 is a little high for just an intake but it's JUST AN INTAKE, ONE PIPE, ONE FILTER.

I'll address the fans and haters alike

LexusRules: yeah maybe you're right. perhaps I do not have the right as you claim, to talk about what I do not know. But here's the counter-point, so read this part well: It's not my fault you make claims and leave me with only that to fall on. If you've created new numbers, that's fine, but I'm going on what I've seen in the past.

Your conduct, and that of your employees is anythting but impressive, and to attack someone like myself who is a consumer and entitled to opinions (based on information YOUR company provides) speaks volumes about your integrity. If your product was worth half of what you claim, you'd be able to shut me up really quick by putting the proof where everyone can see, and allow us to objectively come to an analytical conclusion.

Have you provided us with anything remotely like this? NO, not really. And if you do throw us bones, its with veiled threats like:
ur in my forum now, so dont push ur luck.
So what are you saying? If i post an opinion you'll censor my posts of have Mkilty ban me? THat's a load of BS and lemme tell you, censorship is not viewed highly upon int his fair land, so feel free to censor/ban me, and I'll come back just to call you out for it, just to prove what kind of business you run here. A paid sponsor should get advertising rights. That's about it. If you want to rule the forms then perhaps this should be called weaponRforum.com huh?

You make me laugh!!!

CSHFLW: injen and maybe AEM make chrome versions of their intakes, both of which would require a S-AFC (or similar) to work at or above the weaponR performance #'s and will cost roughly 1/2 of the WR.

epk: This is the price for both. I never once saw SRT push a price like $1200... I've had an IS300 since the week they came out and nver once have i seen that #. The highest they pushed it at was about $995 and they were selling it at a $200+ discount when it was first released until just after new years (2001). Currently it can be had for under $600 w/ their new race ECU. I have not seen any long term reviews ont he race ecu so I won't comment yet.

RacingAristo: Yeah, i'm sorry about those last 2 threads, but I'll give you one guess as to why they were closed. I may have been critical, but at least I never took low shots, nor lied. I can't say the same for the other participants in those lively discussions.

word.
More than proving which is better or whatever, I think being able to voice an opinion is the first and foremost priority here. I don't take kindly to censorship, and I will fight that crap as long as i can. I would die for the freedom of speech in fact, although by some of the comments I've seen from the "opposition" I'd suppose that they'd rather reside in Canada.
It's all good EPK

Has anyone commented on the looks of the SRT vs. WR. I mean its nice to open the hood and someone saying wow, instead of showing your friends the dyno sheet boasting an extra 3whp to contrary to weapon-r intake? We DID get lexus's, not subaru's. Looks play a fair part in this game too.

are you kidding me? The Weapin R looks HORRIBLE on the IS with their "cold air Ram intake" which does nothing more than take the stock air scoop and connect it to their intake w/ something that looks like it was ripped off a POS dryer exhaust. (in regards to the IS300)

Take a look: http://www.weapon-r.com/graphics/IS300CRKF.JPG that look isn't worth $600 more, sorry bro.

lol....your right that does look like shiat. The GS doesn't have a ram intake setup.

although even looking like a vaccuum cleaner still looks better than the bland srt setup.

soybomb... the weapon*R dyno is real... if u dont belive it thats ur problem, i dont work for weapon*R as a matter of a fact im getting the Apex'i S-AFC not the weapon*R ECU.

when the SRT intake was first developed for 1200 on CLUBLEXUS for the GS400 - NOT YOUR IS300 - it was 1200. if u dont belive me i dont care but IT WAS. this was a long time ago when SRT FIRST STARTED MAKING ECUs!! just like weapon*R. they have to get their R&D costs down by selling more, thus get their price down for future buyers. i dont know why you have to think that everyone who suppors a product is being paid by them!?!?! if i back up my GReddy exhaust or TEIN HA will you think im being paid my GReddy USA and TEIN Japan???

I just happened to like to stick up for what i have put money into!! You have caused many threads to be closed so far, obviously you dont know how to argue well at all.

You are a consumer i dont care about. frankly i hope u never buy anything from Weapon*R because u don't deserve it. In fact if i was head of lexus i would not let u buy a lexus. Go Get a BMW or porche.

People like Weapon*R here because they gave it a change. because they aren't neive and immature like you people on IS300.net. Clublexus shouldn't be called weapon-rlovers.com.. but instead is300.net should be called SRTlovers.com! I'm not trying to say anythign bad about SRT or IS300.net.. just taht you have to give others a CHANCE!!! You gave Area 51 a chance obviously since you have that intake/ecu.. what is it about Weapon*R you hate so much? the name possibly?

I'm being nice to you... i dont know why I should when u feel u have the right to come in here and flame anyone who holds a different opinion to you.

We are all lexus lovers and we shoudl all get along.

enginyr : it's called humor, perhaps you've experienced something similar to that in your life?

Just like weapon R, trying to take low shots at me isn't really reinforcing your point, nor painting a pretty picture of yourself bro
