Nice color combo. For a second I thought it was an E class with that front grill

Saw this car on craigslist a month ago, Definetly did not look like this when I checked it out. Tv's missing, it came with a Flip out Tv & headrest. And the door poppers was working fine, and it didnt have those fenders. But ehhh, Still a Good car. Good luck on restoring it, we're know your good for that

I will hopefully have this one restored much much faster since the interior is already clean.
My main goal for the rest of the month is to get it looking OEM and CLEAN. Wipe it down, replace parts that need replacing. Already ordered an OEM grill from a member this afternoon.

[QUOTE=Curry;3991048]So the car got here last night. 1999 GS300 with 75k miles.

Spent the rest of the night trying to fix the driver side door. For some reason the door latch part is not closing on the U shaped piece thats bolted to the door. I think it could be something with the door alignment or something. I have tried greasing it and moving it with a screwdriver and it locks and opens correctly and I cant figured out why it wont latch onto the U shaped piece!

This is the piece i'm talking about, also note I know its in the closed position I left like that so the alarm would set. So basically when pushing the door in it would stop short about 1/4 inch and not latch on. Ideas?

Here are a few more pics:

Damn I wish my interior was black. Congrats curry.

I had bad experience with shave door handles on my mk3 supra trust me they suck and they will give you a head ache.

Restore to stock look and take it from there when your done it's going to be one bad *** GS.
