Default Need Help on noise

i was looking at other threads on what this sound could be but couldnt make it out. the sound is coming from the belt area. The sound only comes out when you rev the engine to a high rpm. its a high pitch screech kind of sound. some guy heard it and he said its the throttle bearing or something like that ( i cant remember exactly what he said). i dont know what he talking about but im sure you guys can help me out. and it doesnt seem like the belt because i was inspecting it and everything looks good.

How old is your belt? That would be a good place to start.

It's definitely your flux capacitor... you need more plutonium... or you can just check the tensioner...

I got another car that does the same thing, it's the alternator on the Chevy. Might be the same on your GS? Open the hood and have someone rev it up... put your ear in there and narrow it down!

It's most likely the tensioner. Once they get old, they don't have the ability to tighten the belt as well and it may slip giving you the screech noise that you're hearing.
