Ridiculous as in.. not bright at all! The reason why that is is because the LED points to the side rather than point down. An angled LED bulb or a LED board would probably solve that problem.. but for now I'll stick with what I have since I don't use that light that often anyway.
Blurry.. but you can see how I set mine up. BTW, my mistake, they are 4LEDs.
I'm not certain, but it could be cause its blue too?
Blue won't be bright. It's the same thing when dealing with HIDs. The bluer it is, the less light output you'll have. Sure, it will look bright directly from the bulb, but once it starts to spread it won't look bright at all because blue has a really short wavelength.
I have been thinking a lot about this...most of the LED/cathode lights are very white, or at least the ones that I would purchase would be.
With the saddle interior, the yellowish tone that the light currently has complements the warm tones of the interior. I am thinking that a bright white light might look out of place with such warm wood and leather colors, so I may just stay with stock.
Any other thoughts?
I could see the white light looking best with Black or Grey, but I just don't know about Saddle.
