Default joint rubbing issue on front tire???

okie i have the ray 19s and currently there is a 225/40/19 on the front and 245/40/19 in the rear!

the front is a 33 oS the rear is a 30 OS and its a staggered set up by .5". 19x8 and 19x8.5.

I went to go look at some tires today and the guy at the shop told me if i run my rear 245/40 in the front it would hit the joint. And by the looks of it with the current 225/40 there looks like there is a 1-1.5" clearance between the joint and the sidewall/top of the tire. does anyone know what im talking about. i want to run a bigger tire in the front and im scared it will hit that joint with i go on bumps or just in general!!

any help would work thanks!!

If he is talkin about the upper ball joint ......... I'm pretty sure the joint moves up and down with the wheel so there shouldnt be any issues

i have 245s on my fronts; my fronts are 8.5s though. yes that joint moves up/down.
my front only rubs when i make left turns on dips; all others are cool. my siggy shows how low i am.
you should clear easily w/those g35 wheels, all around.
also, are you sure those are the correct offsets?
