Lexus should have made their cars look like chuckb's GS from the factory. I still cannot understand why they must have 1 foot wheel gap all around when mercedes and BMW are able to go without it.

Keep the pics coming. I am on stocker 17's and still deciding which springs to go with. My opinion that DF's drop too low on stock wheels and NF's not enough.

4play - just saw the topic saying Anyone lower their ride with stock rims/tires and jumped to the last page and posted!

to be honest im amazed with all these people using lowering springs? im from a Nissan S13 background and no-one uses lowered springs in that scene haha its coilovers or bust. i thought this scene would be all coilovers and bags, but it seems people like the cheaper route?

Thanks for all the posts and pics... Glad to see that overall it looks pretty good.
Ant - I sold my S13 2 years ago to get my 03 GS300! Love those cars - was pretty big into the "scene" and was even featured on some S13/240 website... Now that I bought a lexus - I dont think I can ever drive anything else.

What is the "average" cost of lowering/cut springs (DF210s) vs a coilver kit and whats the main difference? How is DF210s ride quality compared to stock? I really like the ride quality so dont want to effect it too much.

4play4dr - Ill buy those cut DF210s if your interested...

After being in this forum a couple years, I think it's safe to say that some who have coilovers now probably dropped their rides first using the spring/strut combo.

the ride on the chopped DFs arent as bad as some people think it is..yea..they'll blow ur shocks faster..but u can always go with a stiffer shock set up than stock..which is what i had..the picture i posted is of them already chopped..i never had them on before that..so i wouldnt be able to compare ride quality between the two..i just knew that the way it came isnt the way i wanted to ride

but yea..ive had a few requests from people about buyin my chopped springs..but im not sure i wanna sell jus yet..just in case i sell my coilovers ill have these to go back on..but unless i go AIR..then ill sell everything..u'll see it in the classifieds if anything
